John previously founded Lytix, a financial analytics firm that mapped legal and financial interconnections between companies.
His roots are in finance — he worked with the Capital Group from Los Angeles as a global private equity investor, and started his career as a banker in London and Toronto.
John holds an MBA from INSEAD, an MA in law from Oxford University, and a BA from Queen’s University.
Pranab Nag is kaavio's Chief Scientist. He is a visiting scholar who collaborates with Carnegie Mellon University, government agencies and global companies regarding the design and development of complex software systems.
PK's expertise and research interests lie in the application of graph theory, knowledge representation and machine learning to information analysis and search, as well as simulation techniques and natural language processing.
PK worked as Chief Scientist at Lytix, where he focused on design and architecture, knowledge representation and graph theory for financial network analysis.
PK received his PhD and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, and holds a BTech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology.
